Summary
ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Work Planner to join their team in Chambersburg, PA. The role involves working independently in vegetation management, focusing on customer requests for pruning and removals.
About the Role
As a Work Planner, you will inspect and assess customer requests, secure rights-of-way for construction, handle customer complaints, audit contractor work, assist in emergency situations, and communicate with clients and the public. You will also drive a company vehicle to various work locations and promote good public relations.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read maps and identify local tree species and growth rates.
- Knowledge of Utility Vegetation Management practices.
- Ability to hike rights-of-way and drive for extended periods.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite).
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Six months or more direct UVM experience.
- ISA Certified Arborist or ability to gain certification within 6 months.
- Prior experience with GIS software/technology.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
