Summary
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Workday Functional Senior Consultant to join their team in Arlington, VA. The role involves supporting functional work streams related to Workday functionality and advising clients on best practices.
About the Role
As a Workday Functional Senior Consultant, you will support various functional work streams such as HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Learning, Time Tracking, and Security. Your responsibilities will include identifying strategies and risks, leading project staff, advising clients on industry standards, configuring and testing the Workday system, and fostering strong client collaboration to achieve project objectives.
About You
Required:
- Existing and up to date Workday HCM Partner Certification and/or 2+ years of Workday Implementation experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- 3+ years of consulting experience in a Senior Analyst, Consultant, or similar role, preferably with a large consulting firm.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred:
- 2+ years prior experience implementing Workday with a certified Workday implementer.
- Prior Federal HR experience.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Experience with JIRA and/or Confluence.
- Experience with Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring others.
