Summary
CCMSI is seeking a Workers Compensation Claim Consultant for NY/NJ claims to join their remote team. The role involves managing workers' compensation claims from start to finish in accordance with New York and New Jersey laws.
About the Role
As a Workers Compensation Claim Consultant, you will handle a varied caseload across multiple accounts and industries, set and recommend reserves, review and process payments, and collaborate with attorneys and vendors. You will also prepare reports on claim status and represent CCMSI at hearings and mediations as needed.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience adjusting New York Workers’ Compensation claims.
- New York Adjuster’s License (must be active).
- In-depth knowledge of New York Workers’ Compensation law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organization and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience handling multi-jurisdictional workers’ comp claims.
- Familiarity with New Jersey workers’ compensation laws.
