Calvary Hospital is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (OR Nurse Practitioner) to join their team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves providing acute and rehabilitative care for patients with disorders of the gastro-intestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.
About the Role
As a Wound Care Nurse, you will provide direct care to patients with stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, tubes, and incontinence. You will also serve as an educator, consultant, and researcher, playing a pivotal role in guiding optimal patient care. This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts, working 3 days a week.
About You
Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Registration.
- Current certifications in Wound and Ostomy Nursing or Wound Care Certified.
- Minimum of two years Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing with a Baccalaureate Degree.
- Graduate of a WOCN accredited WOC Nursing Education Program.
Preferred:
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner License/Registration.
- Membership in Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Society.
