About the Role
As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, directing, and evaluating patient care. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, prioritize nursing actions, implement physician orders, and educate patients and their families on wound care processes. The position offers ongoing training and a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends.
About You
Required:
- Associates degree in nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals.
- Valid Registered Nursing license.
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with wound care patients (Will train).
- Prior experience with billing and coding.
