About the Role
As an X-Ray Technologist, you will greet patients, explain procedures, position patients for imaging, practice ALARA radiation protection techniques, process and review images for quality control, utilize diagnostic imaging equipment, aid providers with patient treatments, perform routine maintenance on equipment, and maintain records and logs of work performed.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
- Licensed per state regulation.
Preferred:
- ARRT-registered or board eligible.
- Medical Assistant Certification or registry, Practical Nursing License, EMT or Paramedic certification in some states.
