American Family Care is seeking a part-time XRay Technologist to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The role involves performing radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases.
About the Role
As a part-time XRay Technologist, you will greet patients, explain procedures, position patients for imaging, practice ALARA radiation protection techniques, process images, and assist with administrative and clinical needs. You will also perform routine maintenance on equipment and serve as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant as needed.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
Preferred:
- ARRT-registered or board eligible.
- Experience in medical assisting.
