About the Role
As a Youth Care Worker, you will be responsible for engaging youth in therapeutic activities that help them develop social, emotional, and life skills. You will ensure the safety of youth and staff, develop positive relationships, anticipate crises, and implement crisis de-escalation techniques. The position requires documentation of therapeutic interventions and participation in planning activities. You will also engage in reflective practice and participate in required training and meetings.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related experience.
- Ability to learn and implement the CARE practice model and TCI curriculum.
