esVolta, LP is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Development to join their team remotely. The role involves managing the development of large-scale energy storage projects across North America.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager, Project Development, you will manage greenfield energy storage projects from inception to construction, evaluate regional markets for energy storage potential, maintain relationships with key buyers of energy storage services, and lead M&A opportunity evaluation. You will work closely with finance, construction, and commercial teams to ensure project success.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of work experience in the power and utilities industry, preferably with energy storage experience.
- Experience in developing and managing greenfield development projects.
- Knowledge of wholesale power markets and energy project economics.
- Strong quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to present complicated information clearly.
- Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and collaborative.
Preferred:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
