BioSpace is seeking a District Sales Manager - Oncology for the Tri-State area, covering New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The role involves serving as a liaison to medical professionals by providing clinical knowledge of Amgen's oncology products.
About the Role
In this vital role, you will manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve sales targets, track marketing progress, provide feedback on resource allocation, and develop relationships with local Opinion Leaders. You will also conduct performance reviews, ensure compliance with training, and collaborate cross-functionally with other business units.
About You
Required:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience, OR
Masters degree and 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience, OR
Bachelors degree and 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience, OR
Associates degree and 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience, OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales/Marketing experience.
2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience.
Preferred:
Three or more years of specialty sales experience.
Experience in oncology.
Buy and bill model experience.
Ability to recognize and promote success behaviors and diagnose unsatisfactory behaviors.
Ability to leverage market and customer knowledge strategically.
Demonstrated knowledge of local payor coverage.
Ability to articulate clinical concepts and data.
Strong sense of responsibility and demonstrated self-discipline.
