Summary
BioSpace is seeking a Lead Operator - Materials Management to join their team in Lebanon, IN. The role involves directing and performing material handling tasks for sampling and weigh & dispense operations of raw materials in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As a Lead Operator - Materials Management, you will assist the Warehouse Supervisor in ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Your responsibilities will include coaching employees, assigning work schedules, inspecting areas for safety issues, maintaining inventory records, and operating powered industrial equipment. You will also participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical/GMP environments.
- Current certification operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklifts, reach trucks).
- Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
Preferred:
- Experience with RF Scanners and computer systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
- Experience handling hazardous materials.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and train others in department tasks.
- Previous experience sampling materials for testing.
