Summary
Cornelis Networks is seeking a Product Regulatory Engineer to join their team remotely in the United States. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for electronic products, including safety, EMI, EMC, and product ecology.
About the Role
As a Product Regulatory Engineer, you will track and interpret domestic and international standards, coordinate product testing with third-party laboratories, generate compliance reports, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure compliant product designs. You will be involved in all phases of high-performance electronics design, from conception to end-of-life.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in a product development environment with hands-on experience in compliance testing.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of key regulatory standards and directives.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with PCB layout concepts and tools such as Cadence Allegro or Mentor Graphics.
- Experience with regulatory data tools like Q-Point, GDX, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Direct experience working with third-party testing agencies such as TÜV, UL, ETL, or Element.
- Hands-on experience with environmental and mechanical compliance testing.
- Scripting or automation experience with Python or similar languages.
