Wood is recruiting for an Engineering Intern (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical) to join its Consulting business in Houston, TX. The role involves supporting the Subsea Systems & Controls group by assisting engineers in developing and delivering work scopes over a 10-12 week internship.
About the Role
As an Engineering Intern, you will assist with the performance of design and engineering of project solutions, prepare and check engineering reports and procedures, interact with department members to ensure timely work production, contribute to lessons learned exercises, and build relationships with peers and clients.
About You
Required:
Working on Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical)
Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment
Preferred:
Previous internship experience in Oil & Gas
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
