Summary
Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Director, IT Commercial Systems to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of technology solutions for their commercial organization in Chicago, IL.
About the Role
As the Director, IT Commercial Systems, you will be responsible for driving scalable, data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and enable innovative approaches to commercial data management. You will lead the end-to-end strategy and delivery of commercial technology platforms, support commercial teams in data governance, and champion the use of machine learning and AI to enhance commercial effectiveness. This role also involves managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the development of custom applications.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership of commercial systems in life sciences.
- Demonstrated experience supporting commercial organizations including sales, marketing, and commercial operations.
- Strong expertise in CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) and analytics ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and automation engineering.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting multiple marketed products and launch readiness for late-stage pipeline assets.
- Familiarity with modern cloud architecture and API-based integrations.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation tools.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial data sources.
