Summary
Komatsu is seeking a Technical Lead - Adobe Commerce to join their team in Chicago, IL. The role involves leading technical design and development for Adobe Commerce Cloud within a headless architecture to support global digital commerce initiatives.
About the Role
As a Technical Lead - Adobe Commerce, you will play a critical role in enabling Komatsu's global digital commerce transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include architecting scalable commerce services, leading development standards, and ensuring reliable API delivery. You will work within a cross-functional SAFe/Agile POD structure, collaborating with various teams to ensure technical excellence and governance alignment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) in enterprise-scale implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Adobe Commerce Cloud architecture, custom module development, API strategy, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and API design principles.
Preferred:
- Experience delivering complex, multi-layered headless commerce architectures at scale.
- Experience integrating commerce platforms with enterprise systems (ERP, PIM, DAM, CRM, payment services).
- Experience working within SAFe or scaled Agile environments.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized deployment environments.
