Lightspark is seeking a Product Lead - Universal Money Address (UMA) to join their team in Culver City, CA. The role involves overseeing the product development of UMA, an open-source human-readable address standard for real-time cross-currency and payment system interoperability.

About the Role

As a Product Manager for UMA, you will drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, develop and document the UMA roadmap, conduct market research, and work closely with engineering and network participants to evolve the protocol. You will focus on reducing integration costs, enhancing the end-customer experience, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaboration with design, compliance, marketing, and business development teams to define product requirements and prioritize features is essential. You will also define and track KPIs to measure product success.

About You

Required:

7+ years of experience with a viral payments product or financial services with network effects.
Familiarity with payment systems, payment rails, and the regulatory environment (AML, licensing, compliance).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience building 0 to 1.
Knowledge of modern product management tools.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
