Brown University Health is seeking a Sr Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join their team in Fall River, MA. The role involves supporting cross-departmental efforts to ensure optimal patient financial services and efficient revenue cycle processes.
About the Role
As a Sr Revenue Cycle Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring high-dollar and aging accounts, assisting departments with daily batch rejections, training new users on Epic Revenue Cycle Work Queues, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of daily charges. You will collaborate with various departments, participate in meetings to review A/R activities, and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with regulations.
About You
Required:
Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, collections, and insurance claim workflows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
Familiarity with medical coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
Experience working in an academic health system environment.
Experience with Epic Work Queues and SSI Clearinghouse.
