Summary
DOC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager- Building to join their team in Milford, MA. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of construction projects.
About the Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will coordinate and lead internal project teams, trade partners, and clients throughout the preconstruction, construction, and turnover phases of projects. You will manage project planning and scheduling, financial management, procurement, and ensure compliance with project safety requirements. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and participation in continuous improvement programs.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of five years of construction experience.
- Four-year degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
- In-depth understanding of major construction methods and procedures.
- Strong financial management and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Preferred:
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- LEED Certification, Lean Certification, CPR/First Aid Training.
- Experience in a supervisory role with decision-making/problem-solving skills.
