Summary
ITRADE Innovations is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their team remotely. The role involves architecting and developing real-time APIs and backend systems for crypto trading, DeFi analytics, and digital asset tracking.
About the Role
As a Backend Engineer, you will build scalable microservices, manage streaming pipelines, and contribute to infrastructure designed for high throughput, low latency, and mission-critical uptime. You will collaborate closely with smart contract developers, frontend engineers, and data scientists to deliver innovative financial services.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably with financial systems or high-throughput platforms.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS framework.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
- Skilled in gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and microservices design.
- Solid experience with WebSockets and real-time messaging systems.
- Proven ability to design and optimize time-series data solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Security-first mindset, especially in financial and cryptographic contexts.
- Self-starter with ability to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, or Web3 APIs (Ethers.js, Web3.js).
