PseudolithIC is seeking an RF Characterization Engineer to join their team in Santa Barbara, CA. The role involves validating RF device technologies, developing test methodologies, and supporting statistical studies for high throughput prototyping and product manufacturing.
About the Role
As an RF Characterization Engineer, you will be responsible for validating RF device technologies at the transistor level, developing test methodologies for PseudolithIC RFICs, and supporting statistical studies of measurement data. You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to document results and drive improvements in device performance and reliability.
About You
Required:
Advanced degree in electrical engineering (MSEE or PhD), materials science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in RF/microwave test and characterization of compound semiconductors and/or silicon integrated circuits.
Understanding of semiconductor physics in devices and failure mechanisms that impact yield and reliability.
Demonstrated experience to test and characterize large-signal behavior of devices.
Development of RF models for transistors from small or large-signal measurement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with statistical analysis methods for yield, failure, and reliability reporting.
Preferred:
Experience with uncertainty analysis of RF and millimeter-wave characterization.
Knowledge of test equipment operation.
