Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Inpatient Oncology for full-time night shifts in Neptune City, NJ. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a collaborative healthcare environment.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in Inpatient Oncology, you will be responsible for providing individualized patient care based on evidence-based practices, communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams, administering medications safely, documenting patient assessments and care plans electronically, educating patients and families, and ensuring safe transitions of care during discharge.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
Preferred:
- Oncology experience.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
