Summary
The Hartford is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join their team in a Hybrid role. The position involves configuring and managing the Medallia Voice of Customer platform, designing and supporting scalable ETL pipelines, and enabling actionable insights through data analytics.
About the Role
As a Staff Data Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and support of ETL pipelines and data solutions that power Medallia Voice of Customer analytics. You will collaborate with various teams to integrate survey data, streamline ingestion from Medallia Experience Cloud, and ensure optimal data delivery architecture. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Data Engineering experience.
- Extensive experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud and big data technologies (e.g., AWS, Hadoop).
- Ability to design, implement, and oversee ETL processes.
Preferred:
- Experience working on Snowflake data warehouse.
- Familiarity with Voice of Customer tools or similar SaaS platforms.
- Any AWS Cloud certification.
