Summary
NAVWAR is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to join their team at the Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in Naval Base, VA. The role involves budget administration, financial analysis, and travel program management.
About the Role
As a Financial Management Analyst, you will perform and advise on budget administration, analyze costs and benefits of financial management methods, provide advice on fund acquisition and usage, and manage the Government Travel Card Program. You will also serve as the Finance Defense Travel Administrator and assist with debt management.
About You
Required:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Experience reviewing and applying pay and leave laws, ensuring documentation for payroll compliance, and using financial management systems.
Preferred:
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
- Experience with the Standardized Accounting and Reporting System-Field Level (STARS-FL) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).
