Summary
Ratcliff Architects is seeking an Architectural Intern to join their team in Emeryville, California for the Summer of 2026. The role involves gaining professional exposure in various aspects of architectural design and business functions.
About the Role
As an Architectural Intern, you will develop your design skills through hands-on projects, build technical skills by creating presentations and digital models, learn about business functions such as finance and staffing, improve your communication skills, and network with professionals in the field.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of two academic years of architectural design studies completed through an Associates degree or active enrollment in a four- or five-year Bachelor's or Master's program.
- Availability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week for at least eight weeks.
- Ability to work at the Emeryville office at least three days per week.
- Good writing and graphics abilities with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, Bluebeam, and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Time management skills to balance varying workloads.
