Summary

NAVWAR is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join their team in Bridgeport, CA. The role involves performing technical work for legacy computer systems and providing maintenance for various electronic equipment.

About the Role

As a Telecommunications Specialist, you will be responsible for technical work on desktop and laptop computer suites, maintenance of radio network systems, and repair of electronic equipment. You will assist project managers in evaluating telecommunications requirements and ensure the functionality of commercial computer hardware and peripherals.

About You

Required:

Must be a US Citizen.
At least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Understanding of digital and analog communications requirements, voice radio systems, and switching systems.

Preferred:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field.
Experience in maintaining and repairing electronic equipment.
