About the Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will analyze, design, and develop systems while evolving them with advanced technology solutions. You will have the opportunity to broaden your skillset in finite element modeling and computer-aided design, contributing to the creation of airframe structural technical plans for the US Air Force.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience with finite element modeling using FEMAP or Patran.
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools, Catia, or SolidWorks.
- Ability to support large-scale projects.
- Ability to create or complete finite element models using loads data.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, or Master's degree and 8+ years of experience.
Preferred:
- Ability to create CAD designs of aircraft primary or secondary structural assemblies.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
