Summary
Lutheran Life Communities is seeking a Toddler Teacher to join their team at Shepherd’s Flock Preschool in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children ages 1 to 5 years.
About the Role
As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for integrating teaching skills with the values of a faith-based organization, providing a well-rounded educational experience, and positively influencing the emotional, social, and spiritual development of each child. You will work Monday to Friday with rotating shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
About You
Required:
- At least a two year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Completion of courses in Human Growth and Development and Lifespan Development.
- Must be comfortable caring for children aged 1 to 5 years.
Preferred:
- 1 to 3 years of early childcare experience.
- Completed Early Childhood Education level 3 or willing to obtain post hire.
- Completed Infant Toddler level two certification or willing to obtain post hire.
