About the Role
As a Multi Classroom Support (Associate Teacher Qualified), you will be responsible for creating a safe and inviting environment for children, actively engaging with them, assisting with classroom organization, and documenting child observations. You will also oversee program goals, ensure compliance with safety standards, and facilitate communication with families and staff.
About You
Required:
- Must be an associate teacher qualified with a high school diploma and a minimum of 9 credits in child development or early childhood education.
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a minimum of 1,500 hours working in a school-age licensed program.
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and curriculum development.
- Ability to form developmentally appropriate relationships with children and manage behavior problems.
Preferred:
- Experience in early childhood education settings.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and community members.
