Summary
Sunrun is seeking a Certified Electrician 1 to join their team in Lihue, HI. The role involves installing solar systems, performing electrical work, and learning about energy storage technology.
About the Role
As a Certified Electrician at Sunrun, you will lead the installation of electrical systems that connect solar arrays to residential grid power. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with NEC and local codes, completing solar battery installations, troubleshooting electrical issues, and planning Main Panel Upgrades. You will collaborate with branch teams and homeowners for system upgrades and repairs, and you may need to travel up to 5% of the time.
About You
Required:
- Electrical installation and repair experience.
- Valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Experience with electrical work involving wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
- Working knowledge of replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels.
