OneSparQ is looking for a Control Engineer (JOB ID 1727) to join their team for a distribution solutions client in Atlanta, GA. The role involves commissioning and troubleshooting equipment in various industries with a significant travel requirement.
About the Role
As a Control Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying the design, functionality, and accuracy of automated sortation system controls. Your daily tasks will include diagnosing and correcting I/O issues, supporting the implementation and enhancement of control systems, configuring and troubleshooting VFDs and sensors, and collaborating with senior engineers on system design. The position requires travel up to 75% to customer sites nationwide for technical support and commissioning services.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years experience as a controls engineer commissioning and troubleshooting equipment in the material handling, food & beverage, or automotive industry.
- PLC Programming experience (Rockwell).
- HMI Programming experience (Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View).
- Experience with Armor Powerflex Drives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
