Summary
Salesforce is seeking a Lead Technical Writer, Platform Content Experience to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves creating innovative content for Salesforce's AppExchange, the leading enterprise cloud marketplace.
About the Role
As a Lead Technical Writer, you will work with your team and stakeholders to determine content direction and priorities, champion a user-centric approach to content development, create various content types aligned with CX guidelines, track and report on work, and monitor content performance for improvement opportunities.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience creating software documentation.
- Demonstrated English writing skills for a technical audience, with writing samples.
- Great people and communication skills and a strong team player.
- Focus on quality and details, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Comfort with working on multiple projects at once.
- Experience with source control software such as GitHub and markup languages such as Markdown.
- Experience with generative AI and LLM-based solutions and authoring environments such as Visual Studio Code or Oxygen.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field, English, Journalism, or similar.
Preferred:
- Experience with app marketplaces.
- Experience writing for an independent software vendor (ISV) audience.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack.
- Familiarity with Salesforce products, ecosystem, and infrastructure.
