About the Role
As a Founding Gen AI Engineer, you will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to bring innovative Generative AI solutions to market. Your responsibilities will include architecting AI-driven solutions that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and optimizing AI-powered features for various applications. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into customer-facing solutions and independently design and deploy complex AI models.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of AI/ML experience with skills in Generative AI, including designing, building, and deploying AI models that rely on unstructured data.
- 5+ years of experience with Python and JavaScript.
- Proven track record of integrating and working with state-of-the-art LLMs in production environments.
- Strong foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications including RAG.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in vector databases and familiarity with PostgreSQL.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of healthcare or mental health data and regulations such as HIPAA.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
